Dear Friends,

We hope you are well. We also hope you are navigating these turbulent times with meditation-born peace in your hearts.

While our in-person meditation services have not been restored yet, we wanted to remind you of some wonderful resources at your disposal for coping with the current world situation:

  • Meditate with thousands of people around the world! Visit the SRF Online Meditation Center and experience live group meditation just like those conducted in our circle.

  • Watch a weekly online Inspirational service led by an SRF or YSS* monastic. Currently SRF is offering weekly programs that meditation, chanting, and a talk on Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings.

Finally, if you haven’t yet done so, we encourage you to subscribe to the SRF newsletter to receive the latest news from Mother Center. Visit the SRF website to subscribe.

In Divine Friendship,

Ottawa Meditation Circle of Self-Realization Fellowship

Commemorative Services:

Check calendar below

These special services are held throughout the year to honour either the birth or Mahasamadhi (final conscious exit from the physical body) of one of the Self-Realization Fellowship line of Gurus. They are open to all who understand the significance of the guru-disciple relationship and can participate with sincerity and reverence. Please bring a flower, symbolizing devotion for the Master being honored, and a monetary donation in an envelope, as an expression of gratitude and loyalty to the work of Self-Realization Fellowship. Refer to Calendars for dates, and to Notices more information.

Praying for others:

At the close of services we pray for the physical, mental, and spiritual healing of others, and for world brotherhood and peace. Together, the group practices the spiritual healing technique taught by Paramahansa Yogananda, which is explained in the Self-Realization official website:

Worldwide Prayer Circle.
